Covid-19 | Ballantynes Further Update

23rd March 2020

“Business as usual” can no longer be the line. As wider matters develop on an hourly rate, Ballantynes are now taking further steps to ensure the safety of our staff, clients and customers. This means no face to face appointments until we are cleared to do so. In no way does this mean that we are restricting activity, it just means that we will offer alternatives that are smart and overall safe for everyone.

Viewings:
Ballatynes have introduced 360 Virtual Tours of our available properties. Meaning that buyers/tenants can tour our properties from the comfort of their own home. These tours are high-definition so you can zoom into all corners of the property using your computer or smartphone.

In addition to this, we also offer Live Video Tours of our properties so that you can e-meet our agents and go round the property getting and also get answers to any queries that you may have in real time.

Valuations:
Ballantynes want to make sure that existing and potential clients can still have their properties reviewed For Sale or For Let. Again, using video call technology, clients can give our agents a tour of their property. Any queries can be answered and we can hold our usual discussions at that point to go over our thoughts/suggestions relating to the property and to go over the service we provide, followed up by a full written report.

If you are looking for a general idea of value but might not be looking to act straight away, why not use our online valuation tool where you can find out both your sale and your rental value. It takes less than 30-seconds: Click Here

Vacant properties can be handled slightly differently and for more information on any of the above, please contact us on 0131 459 2222.

We will also introduce additions for Lease Signings to ensure safety as well. Any potential tenants will be advised directly.

We will remain proactive in the face of this situation and we are bringing in these measures to continuing our ongoing promise to our clients. We always offer the best possible service and even with some adjusting, this is only for the time being to make sure we are doing our part.

This is not a course of action we would ever wish to take however we have a social responsibility to minimise contact between people. We will continue to service our clients and prospective tenants/purchasers utilising modern technology. This is a battle that we can only win if we follow Government guidance and minimise the risk to our staff and clients.

I hope you and your families stay safe during this difficult time and rest assured Ballantynes will keep operating remotely and safely until such time as this crisis is over.

Kind Regards
