Given the ongoing situation with Covid-19, Ballantynes are keen to provide comfort to our clients and customers. All Ballantynes staff are following the NHS and government guidelines and acting in accordance with their recommendations, which can be read via following this link HERE.

The recent updates from the Scottish government, gives a standard check list for the workplace which we adhere to:

• Routine cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched objects and surfaces such as telephones, keyboards, door handles, desks and tables

• Basic hand washing highlighted as the most effective way of preventing the spread of infection. Hand hygiene promoted by ensuring staff, contractors, service users and visitors have access to hand washing facilities and alcohol-based hand rub, where available

• Crockery and cutlery in shared kitchen areas should be cleaned with warm water and detergent and dried thoroughly

• Ensuring food such as crisps and sandwiches should not be left open for communal sharing unless individually wrapped

As well as this, we can confirm that none of our staff members have recently traveled to or returned from any of the high risk countries. We have made sure that useful information in relation to standard tips to avoid risk is displayed within our offices and sale sites.

We are remaining vigilant but, business is running as usual.
