Ballantynes Now the Main Sponsor for Broughton Rugby Club

Ballantynes have long been involved in local rugby by sponsoring Broughton Rugby Club in Edinburgh but this year they have upped their support by becoming the club’s main sponsor.
 

Rory Ballantyne says; “There is a really positive feel about Scottish rugby and we are proud to be supporting it at grassroots level.”

Despite hanging up his own rugby boots - temporarily, because of the commitments to his young family - he says that the sponsorship is a way to keep ties with
the club and something the firm really values. “This year we are main sponsors which mean we will have our name on the front of the shirts, which are currently being designed.”

“Whilst being a club that includes a good mixture of Scottish and foreign players, there is a great family atmosphere whenever the teams play, but the games also offer the opportunities for very young kids to see international players from all areas in action.

That inspiration is what we are hoping to encourage with the sponsorship.”
