A Perfect Union!
Property specialists secure two contract wins
Ballantynes are delighted to announce two significant sales and marketing appointments with Urban Union. The regeneration specialists have appointed Ballantynes to manage the sale of over 200 private residential properties at two of their flagship developments in Edinburgh and Perth.
Ballantynes will manage Phase 2 of the popular Pennywell Living, in the North of Edinburgh. The development consists of 177 residential homes, with 102 of those for private sale, and comprises one and two bedroom apartments as well as two, three, and four bedroom homes. The sales launch is anticipated to take place in spring 2016, following the completion of Phase 1.
The second development is in the Muirton area of Perth and will be called Muirton Living. The development will offer 203 residential units of which 101 will be for private sale, comprising apartments, terraced and semi-detached living. Muirton Living will launch in summer 2016.
Both developments offer a high standard of modern, energy efficient homes at an affordable level, whilst regenerating the local areas.
Rory Ballantyne, Head of Edinburgh office commented: “We are delighted to be working with Urban Union on not one but two significant new home sites. Not only are we delighted to be entering into Phase 2 at Pennywell and continuing the hard work already undertaken, but we are excited by the challenge of providing a significant number of new homes in the heart of Perth”.
Gordon McKenzie, Director of New Homes also said: “Having recently joined Ballantynes, this is exactly the instructions I was looking forward to working on. We certainly hope to cement our working relationship with the partners of Urban Union and work on similar projects going forward.”
Craig Kidd, from Urban Union, added: “This year looks set to be an exciting one for Urban Union as we prepare for Phase 2 of Pennywell Living as well as the launch of our new development at Muirton in Perth. We are pleased to have Ballantynes on board – they bring with them a wealth of property experience and knowledge and we look forward to working in partnership with them on these new projects.”
